Founded on the principles of “giving back” to society and helping those who are less fortunate, Eternity Wireless provides numerous outreach services to the community at large. Their mission is to serve the growth and success of their own customers and employees and ultimately the greater human community.  They accomplish this through a financial commitment to education, knowledge and resources.

A recent example of their philanthropy happened in 2007, when Eternity Wireless assisted flood victims in the state of Kansas by raising funds through the sale of their Snap-On Shields.  They donated fifty cents for every Snap-On-Shield sold over a seven day period, to a local charity in Colbyville, Kansas. One-hundred percent of the funds raised were disbursed directly to those who needed the assistance.

According to Steven Ross, Sales Manager and co-owner, one of the company’s reasons for existing is to assist grief stricken people like those in Kansas, by providing that badly needed glimmer of hope.

Eternity Wireless had another opportunity In 2007, to touch lives through charitible efforts. They help to provide Christmas stockings to American servicemen serving in Iraq.  They also gave food to needy families through donations to the Harvest Food Bank in Mason City, Iowa and the Community Kitchen and Meals on Wheels of North Iowa.  The company credits their customers’ support in making these acts of generosity possible.

Eternity Wireless was established in 2001 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, by two authorized agents for a regional carrier.  The founders wanted a wholesale company that did business with Midwest Values like integrity and customer service.  Those ethics and wholesome way of doing business not only builds long-term relationships, but also a sense of commitment from and for their customers.

“We do what we say we will do,” explains Ross.  “We say that every order we receive by 2:00 p.m. will be shipped that day, and we do it.  If there is a rare occurrence that we find it necessary to back order an item, when it becomes available, instead of just shipping it out, we call to see if they need other products or if the order is no longer necessary.”

Eternity Wireless started out serving only local authorized agents but has since grown to service agents from the east to the west coasts.  Their geographical location gives them the ability to not only serve the Midwest with quick shipping, but also to get orders to both coasts quicker than many companies.

In 2004 Eternity Wireless shifted their focus from selling phones to a total concentration on accessory sales.  They now offer a complete line of cellular accessories including OEM and aftermarket. Some of the products distributed by Eternity Wireless consist of AC Chargers, batteries, cases, car chargers, holsters, Snap-On-Shields, pouches and licensed products.

Eternity Wireless plans to open satellite sites in the future but is currently content with providing great customer service from their established location.

Ross attributes their growth to their commitment to great customer service. Eternity Wireless provides superior assistance before, during and after each transaction; believing that if they meet the needs of their clients and then their employees the company will take care of itself.

Co-owner Brian Hendrikson concludes by saying, “We strive for quality through relentless testing of our products.  This is why we started the business and to provide a service that is beyond reproach because of the unmatched morals and integrity of the people we have working for us.”
