DEBUTS WHISPERTALK, A BLUETOOTH® HEADSET FEATURING HUSHALERT LOUDNESS MODULATION TECHNOLOGY

With the launch of Whisper Talk, retailers can engage in a refreshing new conversation about Bluetooth headset quality with their discerning customers. “The introduction of WhisperTalk raises the bar for all Bluetooth headset suppliers to a level that will be hard to reach for some time,” asserted Albert Mizrahi, President & Chief Executive Officer of Mizco International. “As the exclusive worldwide Bluetooth headset manufacturer licensee of Q Talk’s HushAlert technology, we now offer dealers and consumers a significant advance in performance value that will immediately translate into higher profits for our retail partners.”
Available for delivery in April under the Cellular Innovations brand name at a suggested retail price of $79.95, the HushAlert-enabled WhisperTalk headset is designed to address the specific problem of speaking too loudly on mobile phones when users are in close proximity to other people. With HushAlert, WhisperTalk headset owners have the ability to control the level of their speech, enabling them to make calls in situations they may not have felt comfortable in before. Q Talk’s HushAlert technology continuously monitors the speech level of the user through pre-set threshold levels. If the user’s speech exceeds these levels, the system provides the user with visual, audio, or tactile feedback alerting them to the fact they are speaking too loudly. The threshold levels are fully customizable by each user.
“As cellular communication has become more and more commonplace, the issue of loudness has become a major social concern,” Anand Katragadda, President of Q Talk, Inc., emphasized today. “The fact of the matter is that when people become engaged in communication they tend to become animated, and as their animation grows so too does the loudness of their voice. For some bystanders this is an amusement, but for the vast majority of people this is nothing less than a growing annoyance. Our licensing agreement with Mizco will help address this growing social issue.”
As companion to the configurable HushAlert software, the Cellular Innovations WhisperTalk Bluetooth V2.1 headset also features multi-pairing up to five devices, voice activated calling, last number redial, mute, answer/end call, call reject, call transfer between handset and headset and volume adjustment. The headset also includes extreme echo and noise cancellation, dual microphones with audio speaker booster, talk time of up to 10 hours, standby time of up to 200 hours, and an operating range of 33-feet. The FCC, CE and UL approved headset is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery.
In addition to the CTIA Show debut of WhisperTalk, Mizco is also taking wireless dealer in-store merchandising to a whole new level of sales effectiveness with the debut of its new Cellular Innovations Direct Dealer Series of premium car and travel chargers.
Available for immediate delivery the Direct Dealer Series offers a full line of premium chargers in packaging designed to match each carrier’s colors. The easy-to-identify and understand packaging design also includes complete compatibility information - and an innovative “Try Me” connector feature that allows consumers to attach their phone to ensure they are buying the right model! Models are available for AT&T, Sprint, Metro PCS, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Cricket.
