Xtreme Mobile: Offers Pay-as-Go 3G Broadband and Unlimited Prepaid
Cincinnati, OH - MVNO Xtreme Mobile announced two major offerings this year. The first, a Pay-As-You-Go 3G Broadband product packaged with USB modem, and the other product is unlimited nationwide voice and text for only two dollars ($2) a day. Xtreme Mobile announced both products as a way to cater to the pay-as-you-go market as consumers seek financial relief while avoiding isolating themselves from communication technology.
The MVNO’s nationwide unlimited plan includes no daily fees, no contract, no credit checks, nor deposits. It provides customers with unlimited calling at 5 days for $10, or just $20 for 10 days. Customers can also choose the $50 monthly unlimted plan that includes unlimited voice & text, plus 100 MB of data.
Xtreme’s sales, marketing, and distribution director, Nathan Stierwalt, thinks this is “real value” for money-stressed customers. “Xtreme Mobile’s Unlimited X nationwide plan fills a growing need. Customers have been searching for an affordable option to replace their home phone, enhance their current wireless usage, and save money.” It is the perfect budget manager, he says.
And while we’re on the subject of budget managing, Xtreme also introduced a way for customer’s to manage Internet costs through a Pay-as-You-Go 3G Broadband plan. The service is $25 a week for 250 MB or $60 a month gets you 1000 MB. It utilizes the CDMA EVDO platform and comes pre-bundled on a Sierra Wireless COMPASS™ 597 USB internet card. By connecting the USB modem to a computer, one is able to access the Internet, check email, surf the net, or connect to an intranet all with pay-as-you-go convenience, with the same “no contracts, no monthly fees, no credit checks, and no commitments.” Xtreme’s customers pay and use the Internet on a need basis, while not having to pay for any unused services.
This on–the-go service gives the consumer and business user a secured network no matter where they are or when they need access. This product also speaks to those individuals who only travel periodically, the convenience of not having to stop and find wired or wi-fi connectivity, and have the freedom to connect anytime anywhere.
“This product can appeal to anyone from students to retirees, to budget-conscious individuals, and occasional travelers. All are looking for a way to access the Internet wherever they are, no matter what time of day it is,” Stierwalt said. “And the fact that they are not tied to a monthly bill or a contract is a bonus.”
According to CTIA, the wireless data market is growing rapidly and is growing faster than DSL and cable modem markets combined. Xtreme Mobile says they are staying ahead of this trend by providing a solution for the growing market.
