Turtle Wireless was a newcomer to CES, though that didn’t stop them from making a grand entrance.
The press was all a twitter, and if you missed it at CES, Turtle Wireless introduced the TW 800 — a fabulous tri-band GSM phone designed to be worn like a wristwatch.
This electronic device comes with a stereo Bluetooth headset, MP3/MP4 capabilities, touch screen, WAP/GPRS compatibility, and more. It is currently available to the Latin American market, retailing for less than $225.
Fox Business named the wristwatch phone one of the top five gadgets at this year’s CES Show. Turtle Wireless is awaiting FCC approval for the US market, but it should be available soon. Turtle Wireless also launched the B-Dazzle line of accessories.
B-Dazzle is a flashy line of cell phone and iPod accessories that will include Bluetooth headsets, carrying pouches, protective covers, and lanyards and more. Accessorized with gemstones and Swarovski crystals.
These accessories are designed predominantly for the more trendy and stylish wireless user. The B-Dazzle line also includes a collection of flashing protective covers and pouches, called Snap"N"Flash.
These shields flash LED lights to signal incoming or outgoing calls, all without the use of the cellphone’s battery or connections. The flash is more than novelty, as it comes in handy for being in situations where you can’t hear the phone ring, such as in the car with the stereo on or a nightclub. And speaking of nightclubing, Turtle Wireless also created their Aayish Fashions division, which has just launched Convertible Bags.
These convertible bags are perfect for paring-down the purse to the evening-out necessities. Each purse in this collection, is a smart, occasional bag with pockets designed specifically for a woman’s “5 essentials”: cell phone, ID, money, keys, and lipstick.
Along with the Convertible Bags, retailers will receive a valuable POP to help introduce this new line to its customers. Turtle Wireless hand picks their products for distribution.
